Your Horse Writer
I’ve been horse mad for as long as I can remember and I spent most of my early years galloping around the garden jumping bundles of washing and creating water jumps using my paddling pool.
By the time I reached 10 years old, after I’d been having lessons for a few years, my parents finally succumbed to my nagging and bought me my beautiful Wingco (which I will be eternally grateful to them for as they weren’t even that into horses)!
I’ve had many an adventure on Wingco over the years and he’s taught me so much! He’s nearly 20 now and life is pretty hectic, so we tend to enjoy relaxing hacks together and sharing a crisp sandwich or two!
I couldn’t bear to part with Wingco, I love him to the stars and back and even when he gets too old to ride, I’ll be keeping him as an expensive lawnmower! I’m lucky enough to have access to a few friends’ horses that I can ride from time to time anyway.
Let's find out a little more:
How many years have you been riding?
Since I was eight, so 14 years
What is your horse(s) called?
Wingco - I've had him since I was 10
What do you do with your horse?
I did quite a few local shows and bits and bobs with him when I was younger but now I just tend to hack out and bomb around. I'd love to do Polo!

My Woof Wear boots - they're sooo comfy and warm!

What is your most embarrassing horsey moment?
My most embarrising moment was when I went to my first show when I was younger and got so nervous I almost forgot which fence to jump - I judged it all wrong and fell off... at the first fence!
What is your favourite cheese?
What do you love?
Vintage and alternative clothing, going to gigs and festivals, socialising with friends and I am a HUGE Morrissey fan. It goes with out saying that I love my pony very much!
