• RE: What do you have to do in Hunter Trials and how fit does the horse have to be? Is it a normal cross-country course? If so, how long is the course?

• RE: Ive been jumping my 10 year old 14.1 hh conemarra at BSJA shows for the last two years. We do well but now and then when the fences go up to fox hunter height he tends to drag his back end and will take a pole out . How can i get him to use his backend better and maybe flick his back legs over a jump?

• RE: My 14hh pony is relatively quiet and easy going, but when it comes to jumping he just changes completely. When he sees a jump he starts rushing it. When I try and slow him down he just throws his head around. I’ve tried using grids and it works for a while but then he starts rushing again. I’ve had his teeth and back checked and their both fine. I ride him in a French Full cheek bit with a double joint in the middle. Hes fed cool'n'easy mix once a day, aswel as getting two full hay nets to e

• RE: Ive had my horse just over a month everything is fab apart from he hates water trays! He has jumped up to foxhunter so has jumped all fillers including water trays which is why I dont understand his issue with them. He has taken a huge dislike to it and wont go over, he does eventually after persuading. If anyone has any tips or tricks to help conquer his fear I would love to hear from you! All advice welcome. Anything is worth a try. Thanks :)
