• RE: My 14hh pony is relatively quiet and easy going, but when it comes to jumping he just changes completely. When he sees a jump he starts rushing it. When I try and slow him down he just throws his head around. I’ve tried using grids and it works for a while but then he starts rushing again. I’ve had his teeth and back checked and their both fine. • RE: I have had my horse on loan for 3 years, and have now been offered to buy him, for £1600. I would just like some advice as to whether you think it's a good deal, or not, considering the state of the economy at the mo. He is a 15hh, coloured gelding. 14 years old, not 100% bombproof, but safe. Has done a bit of everything, but prone to mud fever. What do you think?

• RE: Has anyone any tips on sitting trot? My dressage trainer is insisting I work my horse in sitting most of the time now as she says I need to influence my horse with my seat. I find it hard to remember to breathe and however relaxed I try and stay, I get a pain under my bottom rib. Any Ideas?
