We're being abused at the yard?

I’m being bullied at my livery yard. The staff hate my horse and call him really awful names. I’ve overheard the yard manager brag about how she takes his feed off him if he ‘pulls a face’. I’ve also seen her hit another horse with a shavings fork – and my horse has developed a fear of brooms. The manager...

The manager and her friend even love spooking the horses (I’ve had a bucket of water thrown at mine). I’ve tried talking to the yard owner but she won’t hear a bad word about the manager. I’d move yard

Where are you? I may be able to help relocate you. If I can. I will come get you and your horse and travel you both to the new yard. Don't make a fuss just let me know where you are & I'll see if I can help.

That's horrible! Definately go to a new livery yard, and tell someone like the RSPCA or BHS straight away.

Thats awful!! Someone kept jumping and spoking my horse in his stable at my old livery yard and he became very headshy!! so i moved, i would report her to the RSPCA of the BHS, and make sure you take someone with you to back up your view!! Thats bang out of order!!

I leant upon your shoulder, so much stronger than my own, When I was lost within the world you carried me back home. Sleep tight little man, until we're together again Never forgotten xx

MOVE MOVE MOVE!!! How dare they do that?! Does anyone else on the yard say anything about the awful way they act? It would break my heart if someone treated my pony like that. Most definetly report this yard to the BHS and to the ILPH or RSPCA. Your horse is a priority so you really must find transport to move him. You can hire trailers and there's surely someone you know that can tow it if you can't. Just move him! You do not deserve to be treated so terribly. Shame on them!

REPORT THIS AWFUL YARD!!!! Report it to BHS, ABRS, RSPCA, ILPH and any other organisation they coinside with, this is WRONG!!! Hire transport and move out of there!!!! the problems will only get worse until then ban anybody from coming anywhere near your horse, you can also refusing to pay full livery costs if your horse is being abused and the grooms / 'manager' is not doing their job properly. but please MOVE YOUR HORSE!!!

I would listen to Caroline Putus and move your horse to somewhere where the staff are employed because they love horses, not because they get off on abusing them and their owners. To be honest, I would tell the Manager at the yard that you will be taking the matter further and if needs be you will contact the police. You cannot be abused and manipulated by people that are absuing their authority. Get out of there and make sure you do something about the way you and your horse have been treated otherwise they will do exactly the same thing to another member of the yard and their horse.

Hi, where abouts are you? Send me a message and if it's practical the guy that runs my yard could come get him, he's also got space for livery if needed. These people should be banned from being anywhere near horses for life!!!!

hi. i would seriously move off the yard it seems to be upsetting you and your horse. and it is surpose to be a happy and peaceful time for you and your horse to spend time together not being worried about what people do when your not there and what people say about your horse. every one loves there own horse for a different reason so dont let them get to you i sure your horse is very special to you and thats how it should stay. hope you get thins sorted out xxxx

Hi, i would move. Its not that there just abusing you but there abusing your horse and thats terrible. They should'nt be aloud to work with horses if they miss treat them. If the owner wont listen that they have terrible staff then theres nothing that you can do. Move before it gets worse. Do you know anyone who can transport you, a friend? x x x
