Large step for me getting on board!!

I know it is only a small acheivement but to me it a Major WOOHOO!! Last week i was putting just the saddle on Roobee for a few minutes without the girth. Today i out the saddle on, and did up the girth reasonably tightly. We had NO reaction, NO cowkicking, NO going backwards................ just ok then i am ready for the in-hand walk!

The small steps are making such a difference to ensuring Roobee is ready for the next step. I still need to get the back person out again, but this was a DEFINATE move forward,

I am soo pleased with my girl..........

Like I said a small step but to me a huge success!!

OOO dont tempt me. I am so itching to get on board and start doing stuff ( i know I will take it easy). but it will be great to explore the  large woods and the longer rides and one test......open her up on the beach!! ( Nijinsky bloodline!)

That's great news, you must be so pleased with her progress, you will get there as you have the understanding and patience to work through everything slowly, although the temptation to get on board must be really getting to you !  Good luck keep us in touch XX

I havent got a clue what she can do, as the fastest i have ever gone is about 10 strides of trot!

You can see why i want to "let her rip!" I want to feel her power and the wind in my face and knowing ( hopefully) I am in full control of a galloping 3/4 ton speed machine!!!  Yep i am nearly 50 and still want to go flat out have have tha buzz!!!
