A last picture of Starlett

I still can't believe my Starlett is no longer with me. It really hurts.

Although the pain is still with you and there will forever be a hole left in your heart....please be reassured that you did everything you could for your darling girl right until the end. She will stay with you forever and be waiting for you in green pastures....

Re: A last picture of Starlett

Your poem is beautiful;

"I'll be not far, I promise that

and hope you'll always know

that my spirit will be close to you

wherever you may go"

The pain will fade with time, but you will always have your memories.

Big hugs from me  too.   xxx

Indeed, a very emotional time for you.  Wishing you much strength to get through this difficult time, and in time you will be able to look back with fond memories x

Trudi, the poem is so beautiful and so is the picture of Starlett, bless her.   I know how hard it is for you at the moment but she will always be with you and nobody can take away all of your lovely memories of her. Take care and don't loose touch with us all, big hugs, love from Lyn XX

Tears in my eyes whilst reading your poem. I know its hard and the pain is still fresh but big hugs and all my thoughts are with you. Starlett will always be by your side even if you can't see her and I'm sure she is greatful for you being so kind to stop her pain. I'm sure she loves you dearly and she will always be in your heart as you in hers.

All my sympathy, love Meg x

Sitting crying while reading this. She had a great life with you until the very end. Makes me think of my pooch who I lost in November last year, the pain never leaves you, just fades a little with time.

Oh Trudi, I'm sitting here welling up reading that lovely poem, and seeing Starletts photo.

You gave her a wonderful life, and knew when it was time to let her go, and I'm sure you'll meet up with her again some day.

I still miss Grouse, who we had to pts a year ago last March, but we have wonderful memories, as I'm sure you have of Starlett - please take care, and stay in touch on here from time to time.

I am so sorry I had no idea!

Biggest hugs to you though, read the other thread and you did what was right 110% so you can take comfort in that.

Its horrific losing a horse, but you didn the right thing and you can remember all the good times with her.

Thoughts are with you x
