For me it has to be Mo Farah in the 5000m race last night, absolutely incredible !! I really enjoyed the 10,000 too so a double gold for Mo ! All of our athletes and competitors have been fantastic, they have done us proud finishing 3rd in the league table with 29 gold medals. Lets see what we can do in Rio !!

 Surprisingly, the dressage and particularly the team gold and I loved Laura's grand price special! If you'd have asked me before i would have predicted the eventing as my highlight but maybe I'm a dressage diva afterall! Lol

 

I also still get emotional remembering when the flame was lit at the opening ceremony

I've enjoyed it all . Really enjoyed Mo Farah's races and watching Jessica Ennis and yesterday's mens marathon, nice to see the Ugandan win as it was the first medal they had won. I enjoyed both opening and closing ceremonies aswell .

Now there is nothing to watch on telly i might get something done with my horses and in my house .

I totally agree!! And it'll be back to complaining that "there's nothing on the telly...."

Highlights - the equestrian events, which ALL seemed to be edge of the seat nail biting stuff,

Mo Farah, Ben Ainslie, pretty much all the rowing and cycling, Kirani James swopping badges with Oscar Pistorius......

And I think Carl Hester for having the foresight, decency, and goodwill to give Charlotte Dujardin the ride on Valegro (who OH kept calling Viagra, lol) when he saw how well they did together, when he could very well have kept the horse to ride himself.

For me Laura's Individual Freestyle dressage - Her horse was so expressive , I actually cried watching him do his pirouettes! I'm not a dressage fan either normally, and I also loved that Charlotte got gold, she must have worked so hard to get where she is in such a short space of time.

All the equestrian, cycling and Mo Farah couldn't stop screaming on the last 400m of the 5k when I thought he was going to get caught, hubby and daughter thought I'd gone mad and the dog run out the room! Will have to get back into my soaps tonight haven't watched anything else for the last two weeks.

I have to say the Kûr, because I WAS THERE!!!!!!!!! The atmosphere was amazing - you could have heard a pin drop during each and every test, and when Charlotte's mark came up the place just EXPLODED!!! I felt like that bit in Henry V when he says "And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,".
