Another Update for you all !!!

Well Welshie is feeling much better, she finished her antibiotics and the sneezes have more or less gone, hooray!

ZZ is not dong great, she is still not sound and suffering a little with laminitis so sadly back on Danilon and I am changing her diet to see how we get along.  In herself she is full of it and happy so we plod on.  Having read ChasandParsleys post the other day and watching her video it really encouraged me to push forwards, I am sure one day ZZ will get to eat some grass again or even go out for a little while.

Anya, well as you know I decided to wean her off the medication for the epilepsy so the next few months  would not be about medications and syringes, what I hadn't realised it would take until November to get her off the drugs!  Anyway she is on half the dose she was on and dare I say it doing great - seriously not a seizure in around a month and every morning now she goes into her corner, lays down and sleeps for ages, same again mid afternoon and over night.

I have everything crossed that whatever this is or was we may now be looking at a few more years together as she seems to be impoving so much, and for the first time in about 7 or 8 years of her life there are finally no marks on the front of her fetlocks from the constant falling over.

I won't be counting my chickens as life has taught me things change quickly, but all seems to be fairly good at the moment.  Thanks to everyone for your support xx

Well, you've gone through such a bad patch you must be due some good stuff - what great news about Anya and Welshie, and if ZZ is happy then long may it continue.

Hopefully nothing else has happened to you recently, either, so enjoy things :o)

Fantastic!  My friends' pony keeps getting recurring bouts of laminitis this year.  It turns out she has EMS so I know how frustrated you must be.  At least everthing else is improving though - what a great testament to your amazing dedication to the girls.  Well done and i'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Good to hear things are improving for you. Hopefully ZZ will improve enough soon to get a bit of grass and turnout. It is about time your luck improved with them.
