 What a beauty :)

In the first pic I could see why they said liver chestnut but in the second he looks dark bay as he look like he has black legs (it's hard to tell from photos) how old is he as you may find he keeps changing for a while!

Yes, first pic I'd say liver chestnut, but agree with Lottiepony, looks more bay in the other two, as his points seem black.

Can you have a chocolate bay? He looks wrong for a liver chestnut somehow, but it's difficult to tell with photos......

and I love that photo of him lying down, gorgeous

Due to the lighter shades in his mane he is a liver chestnut, definitely!  He's very pretty.

Liver chestnut is almost brown with a reddish hue to it so he could easily be classed as that or I would simply say he was brown with white socks.

the two photos above show good examples of the variation in liver chestnut from light to dark and this one shows a brown horse colour

first glance I would say liver chestnut, but if he had a flxen mane to match his tail he would be a flaxen liver chestnut, he looks a mixture to be honest... my friend has a liver chestnut cob who is very similar to yours, she has lightening in her mane and tail :-)
