Hoof moisturiser

My boy has awful brittle feet, always has. I can't give him supplements as they tend to send him loopy.

I use NAF hoof moist at the moment, but I'm not convinced its doing a lot.

Any one know a good one?

i think that stuff is well naff! :) i use Kevin Bacon and swear by it, bit pricey but a tub lasts ages. Or for a cheaper option vaselene/ (sp) petrolem jelly also works well :)

KEVIN BACON. Ah man I love that stuff.

I also think that NAF Hoof Moist is rubbish!

I use Kevin Bacons but have also used Equimins solid hoof oil - both of these are really good.

I like effol, that's the one my farrier recommends.

I use effol and find it good. I've never heard of Kevin Bacon thought he was an actor!

Haha, had to have a giggle at that - yes, he is, but there's also a range of hoof products with the same name, and I use it too, brilliant, not the cheapest stuff around, but well worth it.
