Instructors

I am toying with the idea of having a regular lesson on Jake in the hope that him working regularly will help loose the tub and also will give us something to do as all we do at the moment is hack out on the same path to the same place and im getting a little bored...I just don't know where to start looking really...we don't have a box or anything so can't really travel anywhere. I just dont know what to put into search engines or look up in yellow pages etc any suggestions welcome :) xx

I would try the bhs website or contact the local riding clubs they always have a list of instructors. Some riding school instructors like freelance work to so you could ring and ask them.

Re: Instructors

Near me local instructors always advertise on the notice boards of local tack and feed shops

Re: Instructors

Found my instructor via my friend who rides Ben. I'd heard of her and her reputation and she is excellent.  I'm so fortunate to have her teach me because I know there's a list of people who would like to have her.  Trying and find somebody through word of mouth and don't expect the first instructor to necessarily be the one for you.

Re: Instructors

I'm a freelance instrurctor and I advertise through Facebook as lots of others do as well, it makes it easy to find someone in your area. I also get a lot of business through word of mouth, so ask around your area or friends or your yard or whatever who they recommend, this is a great way to find someone reputable, proven and local !!!
