I can't say we had a purpose whilst over there, I just wanted to take him to something local as we've been doing lots of new things..like his first actual course of jumpings in well over a decade and going to a show.
There was A LOT of shouting, he made a considerable amount of people laugh and made me very embarrassed as he would not shut up
I rode over with 2 friends and her mum bought their trailer over so we could tie up. My friend's did the 2ft6 and 2ft9 courses.Parsley and myself did the warm-up arena ahaha.
It was great to get him out doing something, but frankly my jumping still is just not good enough and I don't feel comfortable doing anything yet. Maybe next year if he's still in work! I do want to do a class or at least Clear Round, but I am not prepared to do it knowing it's just not quite good enough yet..such a shame as it was lol.
We had a couple of issues of trying to run off with me out of excitement and bouncing but it's all good ;)
Just thought I'd share as it was only August last year he could be turned out for the first time in 9 months!
It's lonely in the saddle since the horse died.
