Hello, thought i would introduce myself.

im new to this forum iv had a browse through a few times and finally thought i would sign up.

My names Leah, Im 19atm i live in South wales, Port Talbot. Would like to know if theres anyone else on here from the area?

I own 2 horses one is a 1 year old cob gleding and the other is an 8 year old standardbred mare and i love them both to bits.

Hi Leah, and welcome to the forum.

We live in Devon so not really anywhere near, I think there's at least one member who lives in S Wales, not sure where though.

Nice to hear about your horses, do you have any photos?

We have 3 horses and a shetland who between them keep us well occupied!

Yes i do have a photo its the only one i have on my laptop its not the best of photos but il put it on here anyways.

What horses do you own?

 I ove shetlands would love to own one myself. There the cutest of things :) and yes i bet they do keep you busy :P

Aww, they look absolutely gorgeous !!

We actually only own one, my old 15hh cob mare Bracken, who is 23 this year and retired, then there's Monty who's adopted from a rescue centre as a companion, not sure what breeding he is, but he's 12 and has arthritis.

Last November we also took on Fate, another cob mare, and Captain the shettie, from a friend who couldn't afford time and money to keep them anymore, we only "loan" them, and get a small amount every month to help with their upkeep - I'm a sucker, I know, but we'd known both of them for years and couldn't bear to think of them going off possibly separated to bad homes, or the knackers yard.
