i had the same problem with my first pony 3 years ago (still have him) i went from a 20 horse yard to a 6 horse yard and the lady at the yard said i should just do the norm i left him in the first night next to his new field mate then road him in the morning then let him out and just went about the norm and he settled in very quick just spend a lot of time with her so she knows someone and make shore she gets to know some horses on the yard befor she goes out and id leave her in the first night and ride be for turing out :) hope it all goes well :) good luck

I have done what you have done twice, the first time was bring horse home due to circumstances this worked well for 20 years until I lost my beautiful Tonka, then brought an ex- racehorse rescue home then after 12 months lost her due to a twisted gut, then brought my latest horse home which did not suit her so was rehomed at a DIY yard which helped me out but due to many issues mainly due to duty of care issues with the yard and barbed wire being the main fencing as well as binder twine used as gate hinges and also lead ropes used for many purposes other than the purpose they were meant for. I was found by a very helpful owner of a horse transport firm who also used to work for the same Engineering Design Company as myself a lovely DIY yard with a good YO and friendly people who help each other and are as paranoid as myself. I left my horse in the first night as it was the afternoon when I moved yards, then introduced her to the only other horse there, now they have been joined by a gelding and has made my mare a right flirt, but horses and people so chilled out so it effects the horses, no stress. I was worried the first time the 2 horses met but sniffed noses and a squeak that was it, went of grazing together in a 10 acre field. Good luck! :o)  When we've moved, we've given them a day or two off.  She'll possibly need to be in for a day or two as the new yard will probably want her to be wormed before going out on their grazing. Ideally she should be out next to her field companions for a day or two and then they should be brought into her field rather than the other way around.  That makes the existing horses the newcomers to "her" field and helps to avoid nastiness.  Not all yards do this so if she has to go straight out with the new horses, consider rugging and booting her to make her as "protected" as possible if they get nippy!

A routine will help her settle - as will keeping her feed the same as she's been on (although you'll prob have to reduce it if she's not going to be working so hard)  Get the yard you're on now to give you her routine now and stick to it as closely as you can for a while on the new yard, then gradually bring her on to a routine that suits you! 

Finally. ask for advice or help if you need it - better to feel a bit daft than cause problems for your horse!  Most people are only too happy to help and will be very kind.  Sounds like a smaller yard will sort your horse down to the ground - hope it goes well for you :o)
