nearly fell off due to my stupidity.

so we'd done some schooling in the field + nice canter, so for the last trot i decided to go no stirrups, which I had previously done out hacking + jen was brill. So as I kicked her into trot i dropped my reins to show off to my mum (looking back this was STUPID of me) and my rein got caught on the stirrups, jen then thought it would be fun to go into a fast canter. luckily the fence was nearby and I grabbed enough rein to stop her, was very fast lol I honestly thought i was going to fall

Never show off it has a nasty habit of coming and biting you on the backside, we all have suffered and it always happens infront of everyone.

Unless of course you're showing off a beautifully balanced seat, on top of a responsive, forward going horse, with all hands and feet in/on/holding the appropriate pieces of tack.

Then its allowed.
