Re: Badminton

gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted, gutted

Get the picture?

I was supposed to be going from Thurs-Mon and was taking photos for a regional managazine. I was also camping with a group of friends and had a massive party arranged for Friday night. Soooooo disappointed.

However, the safety or horses and riders is paramount so I think they made the right decision.

Did I mention that I am gutted???

Re: Badminton

Yeah, heard it on the radio earlier - wasn't gong, but I do like watching it.

But I can't say I'm surprised, the ground must be saturated, and after a few horses have been round it would be sooo slippery, even if it stays dry from now on it would still be wet underneath.

It must be so disappointing and frustrating for the riders, but on the other hand if they'd carried on, how many would have pulled out?

will definitley go next year Richard. It's just so disappointing isn't it? But I do think thye have made the right decision.

I was going to book Chatsworth for next weekend, but from my experience, it is wet there generally as a rule so if weather continues maybe they will be next to cancel? Will look forward to Bramham in June now instead...plus all the smaller BE events I toddle off to....you just can't beat badminton

Re: Badminton

It is disappointing however its also very sensible living not far from Badminton and the weather we have had it would have been so unsafe to hold it.
