Yes, I use it for Bracken, mostly in the winter, but she still has a very small amount during the summer.

She has it with a senior mix in the winter, she's a 22 year old cob, and although a good doer, she tends to lose condition in the cold weather.  In the summer it's just there really to keep her ticking over and for her to have her supplements.

So I'd recommend it - mixes up within about 10 - 15 minutes, faster if you use warm or hottish water, good fibre provider, and no molasses.

I used to use it as my old pony was prone to laminitis through cushings, and I fed it to all my horses at the time.  I gave it with alfa a oil to 2 of them, and with happy hoof and dengie hi fi lite to Rhapsody.

Three of ours didn't like it and the big girl loved it but it gave her spasmodic colic so it's not something we use now!
