Cant seem to find a list of different types of jumps, showjumps and cross country. I want to start teaching my tb mare different types of jumps but cant seem to be able to remeber them all.

Re: Can sombody list all types of jumps.

Well , you get simple uprights, spreads which have a jump in front of another with the one behind being slightly higher than the one in front or at least the same height but never lower, you get double and triple combinations, a double should have 3 strides between each component, a triple has 3 strides between the first and second and only 2 between the second and third.  You get water jumps too.  You can get the wall too of course, you can recreate this by using a filler painted like a wall.  You get all manner of fillers, hanging planks and different designs for wings too e.g. ones which look like old fashioned lamposts and musical notes.  At our local BSJA venue there's even one with wavy hanging planks with ducks on it, the wings have bird cage designs and there are little blue inflatable puddles to go under it with yellow rubber ducks in!
