as long as its healthy and has good manners on the ground as well as ridden and if it does a bit of everything colour, breed or gender doesnt matter to me :) well thats just me

I agree - if it does what you want, in the way that you want, then go for it.

We have 2 mares and 2 geldings, and although they're all very different, I love them all dearly.

And as regards colour, I'd go with the old saying "a good horse is never a bad colour".

Thank you, Sammy often gets overlooked in favour of Blair as most people think Blair's pretty.  There's more piccies in my gallery.

I'm open minded and would'nt reject any type, colour, sex or breed. I would look for something with a kind nature, a willingness to learn and safe to ride especially out hacking. So it would'nt bother me if the horse was a mare or a gelding, I would have to think twice about a Cremello as I would worry about sunburn and the possibility of sarcoids.

I never realised you had any photos up in your gallery! Sammy definitely takes the cakes for me, Joe looks like a sweetie as well. And of course Blair and Rhapsody..

But yes. Sammy and his colouredness is a winner.

Oddly enough, we nearly bought a cremello when we were looking for a horse for my daughter - we ended up with Grouse, but I often wonder what happened to him, he was only 6, and was such a sweet chap, but daughter took more to Grouse. I just wonder if we'd still have him if we'd bought him....

Funny thing is when I was looking for a horse, I didn't really think about colour, sex or breed I just kept getting drawn back to Tommy, there was a video of him on the ad I must have watched it 6 x a day for weeks on end.  He didn't even have the blond locks he was hogged but I just knew he was the one.

Talking about looks lol, when we first met Tilly when she was on loan to someone else my OH thought she looked like a Reindeer ! She was a funny little thing and quite puny looking. Just lately though Tilly has matured into a lovely horse and is filling out in all the right places. As everyone knows she is now Dermot's little princess !!
