I don't use bits, but I had a little lookie at www.thehorsebitshop.co.uk where there is some info about this bit, and it also says you can get it on 30day trial.

Re: pee wee bit

I know a lady who breeds top dressage horses and owns the stallion that bred Charlotte DuJardin's new project - I watched her ride in a PeeWee Bit last summer and she was saying that the stallion really goes well in it, so I've seen good things, but every horse is different!

Guess as SuzyA suggested it's worth a try :)

I looked into trying one for Danser last year before i retired her. Someone recommended it to me to try on her. I was going to hire one but got a different bit in the end and then a couple of months later she was retired. I would definitely hire one before buying as they aren't cheap to buy.

The below photo isn't us, but this is the same style of bridle I use.  Mines purple and black.  It's a Libby's Scawbrig bridle, and you can clean it by putting it in the washing machine!  I've ridden in this bridle for over five years now - hacking, jumping, dressage, whatever.  Love it

Re: pee wee bit

thanks for all replys . daughters pony has a very small mouth , seems very uncomfortable in all bits . he was seen about six weeks ago by vet who just put it down to his age . dentist is coming out on the 17 th to have a thorough look in his mouth and do any work neccessary .i read this bit is a kind bit although it looks thin . dont want to put any bit in at all until dentist has seen him , love the idea of bitless , just not sure with a young girl riding a young pony . although saying that if hes comfortable and relaxed in his tack , maybe it could be better .x
