Any ways I can improve my balance?

Yesterday I fell off my horse...but it wasn't like he was going crazy or any thing! He did the slighest jump in the air and a little buck and I was off! My instrutor said I have terrible balance and shouldn't have fallen off! So are there any ways I can improve my own balance?

work with no stirrups will help deepen your seet and therefore improve balance, I only really hack my horse but I do a large chunk of it without stirrups

If your instructor was so quick to tell you your balance is terrible what did he/she advise you to do to help it??

Yes work with no stirrrups maybe on the lunge so someone else can control the horse and you can grab the front of the saddle or neckstrap if need to.

Well she's not technically my instructor, I didn't know what to call her! She took my horse on for schooling when I was having trouble with him, now she's just helping me regain my confidence. Shes an amuture jockey, not an instructor but is really good with horses. But thanks every one any way!
