Reins slipping

Hey guys.
lately i've noticed i keep letting my reins slip, but its only when i use double reins and its only the snaffle rein i seem to lose.
Does anyone have any tips on how to keep my reins?

Re: Reins slipping

Are you wearing gloves, particularly leather ones, as they will help improve your grip?

At home I don't wear leather as I don't want to ruin them but I do wear a decent make at home :)

Dressage reins have a rubber coating on the inside to help stop slipping but are still thin enough to use with a double bridle/pelham.
