Im on DIY and i pay

£400 pcm for stable and grazing all year round

£140 pcm for haylage in winter  and £40 pcm for hay in summer

£120 pcm for shavings all year round

£80 pcm for electric  and water all year round.

Then its around £20 a year to depose of the dung heap

£20 a year for spring fertiliser chain harrow and roll of field.

I have 4 horses its a 6 box yard with 4.5 acres i rent this yard myself and its only me here im Wilts/somerset borders.

I pay £120 per month DIY livery. That includes my own stable and the use of a shared paddock for whenever I want my horse put out (everyday). Farmer supplies our hay though this is extra on top. Have own storage for tack then also in barn for hay, chippings e.t.c. Full use of yards private sand school and hacking fields with access to hours more hacking through woodland.

My livery bill last month was £425 yikes !!! That's full ivery though ...

oof, well, the 1st place i payed for was £35 a week, all year turnout but only a small paddok for riding (wasnt a biggy as he was only 2 so we took him on walks instead) before this i got livery as part of my wage

where i am now is £20 a week has an ok arena but the surface is awful and we have to rake it after use (also new rule if we lunge HAVE to have sidereins or passoa on....sorry but im not putting my youngster in such contraptions when he cant even go round on a circle properly yet =/) n we have to buy everything else, im also renting a field atm for £10 a week as winter turnout is awful n  wanted him roughing it so he could grow up a bit more.

however im thinking of moving when a friends yard is set up which is next to the field i rent, its £40 a week which includes box, haylage or hay and a bale of shavings, and soooooo much grazing its untrue, you can have 24/7 turnout al year round if you wanted, which will be fantastic, it has a huge outdoor and a small indoor lunge pen, will be ok for riding small horses in, im so excited, also has x-country jumps in the field XD n fantastic hacking

I pay £130 a month for DIY so get a stable and field. We have privet woods for hacking, XC field, out door school with show jumps but you have to pay extra if you want lights on. It's nice up there, but I'm also on schooling livery with another yard at the moment too for £100 a week, so I use all the same facillities any way plus a lunge pen! Oh and I'm on the kent/surrey border :)
