Could we come and meet you and your horses?

Hi everyone,

The Your Horse team and I are looking for yards full of horsey folk that we can come out and visit. We do this as often as we can to find out what our readers (and non readers) do with their horses, enjoy reading about and what they'd like to read more about.

If you'd be up for this, please drop me an email on imogen.johnson@bauermedia.co.uk or just pm me - all the visit will involve is a chat with us (we normally come out in twos) meeting your horses and having a good old chin wag about all things horsey! We are ideally looking for yards with at least 5 people on - if you're on your own but can get together a few of your horsey friends that's fine too.

I look forward to hearing from you - and hopefully meeting some of you too!

Imogen x

You could always come over to Germany. We have a fair few 'Brits' on our yard, and not only that you could do a small tour of all the Military equestrian centres in Paderborn etc.

Hi Imogen, I have moved yards to one with 25 stables and a varied bunch of people. You would be most welcome !!

We have just moved to a new yard in Leicestershire having had our horses at home for the past 3 years.  We're settling back into yard life and really enjoying it.  You are more than welcome to contact me.

 Hi Imogen,

If you would like to hear about horses from another country - I'm from South Africa and have many interesting things to tell you on how we do things over there.. vastly different.. and we have some awesome shows including our annual Derby with jumps of 1.65m high and spreads of 2m wide.. the track is designed and built by a British course builder and thats just the beginning.

Your readers might enjoy a glimpse into the way things are done SA style?

I keep my horses at a very friendly yard in NSW's Hunter Valley region of Australia.  It's a very busy yard, possibly close to 100 horses, and facilities aren't posh, but it's very friendly and there are a number of other nervous riders like me which is very reassuring and means there's plenty of support if I need it.  Possibly a bit far for you to come and visit but I'd be happy to share photos.

Actually I'm in the UK on holiday at present and missing my boys terribly - fortunately my friend here has horses so at least I can still get my daily dose of equine beasties.
