im thinking of getting another horse but hes due to make 17hh maybe more - we have only just got a new horse box its an ifor willams 505 so could i fit him in if we take the centre partition out? ty x

We used to have a 505 - they take horses up to 16.2 I think, and as ours were 15hh we were fine!

Getting another one depends when your youngster is due to get to full height I guess, but you'd need a 510 or a 511, they take up to 17.2.

 I got my 16.1 and 15.2 in it and the 15.2 weighs more than my 16.1 by a rather large amount so yes i think weight wise it will be okay, just make sure you use poll guards for height though.

the horse is standing at 17hh at the mo the breader thinks he will make 17.1 no more iv seen people going around with horses in a 505 with out the partision hummmmm i might just try him in it at see     ??????

Well try him and see, but the partition being out won't make the trailer any higher, and height is what you need.

If you do try him make sure you put a poll guard on him as equi said, and watch carefully as you load him to see what clearance there is for his head - if it looks like there's not enough room, DON'T load him as it could freak him out totally.

no a 505 will not be high enough. you will need a 511.
