OMG i've sold Charlie

I had a viewer come and look at Charlie on Sunday. She feel in love with him . He is leaving me on Saturday and starting his new life. I'm upset that he is going but he has a wonderful home to go to. I wasn't going to sell to just anyone he had to go to a good home. The lady who is buying him will continue to spoil him rotten so he i know he has a fantastic home and she is going to do loads with him . I couldn't ask for a nicer home for him. I am going to the yard on Wednesday, see my other post, and i will get a deposit from her then. I have just organised the transport for her.

I'm really happy but very sad at the same time.

Oh that's good news, do you know the yard that he will be going to ? I hope Charlie has a long and happy life with his new mum, must be mixed emotions for you atm, would you like the new owner to keep in touch or will you prefer a clean break. Good luck, i hope that all goes well, he's a stunning horse ! XX

I have already asked her to keep in touch with me as it has been so hard to come to the decision to sell him. She has told me i can go and see him whenever i want to.

I already know the yard he is going to as i used to keep my horses down the road from it and a friend has her horse there. She is hoping to move him in the near future to a better yard that does loads of competitions.

Thanks everyone. I know i have done it for the right reason but i still a bit like i have let him down. I buy for life and i have only owned him for 3.5 years. I guess i can concentrate on Sky now without feeling guilty that Charlie hasn' t been worked .

Horses, who'd have 'em . Me i still have 3 to do lol.

That's good news, and I'm glad he's going to a loving home - I guess if the new owner is keeping in touch you'll be able to follow his progress, good luck to him.

I expect you'll feel a bit down after he's gone on Saturday, so take care, and think about what you hope to do with Sky.
