I'm 15 and have to total up how much Minnie is costing me every month and have to make sure that I don't go over a certain budget. It annoys me when people think that people who own horses are loaded with money. Yes, there are some wealthy people who own several horses and spend lots on then, but tthen here's the others [us] who arn't made of money and do have an idea how the real world on finance works.

 my budget is extremely tight, i literally earn just enough to cover livery each week and hay plus feed as and when. Cut flicks concentrates right down so lasts loads longer (good doer) she has front shoes and trim on backs every 8 weeks so thats not to bad but keeping an eye on what im spending isnt an option i think id end up in hosp with heart failure if i saw a total i spent every month! - and thats just the basics..
