High calorie feed?

Hi, I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good high calorie feed? Obviously I would prefer as low price as possible but as it would just be temporary (hopefully but the way she's eating I don't see it taking too long for her to fatten up) as it's to help put weight on, I don't mind forking out extra pennies

Try feeding ad lib hay. Thats what helps ours fatten up. And plenty of chaff, nuts & sugar beet. :) Good luck.

Thanks! She is getting as much hay as she wants and as soon as she is almost finished she gets more. Her new stable is like heaven compared to where I got her from! She is just very underweight at the moment and unfortunately all the others are on low calorie food so I am on the hunt for something different for her.

Alfa A is high in protein and helps to add condition but i would'nt feed it if you have plenty of grass as your horse would be getting quite alot from the grass. We feed our young mare Spillers conditioning cubes and a fortified chaff, she does quite well on this and it does'nt seem to hype her up.
