HELP - My Jumping Position is Terrible!!!!

 Hi please can you give me any tips, advice, and just generally tell me what i am doing wrong and right and what i need to do.

You honestly don't look terrible!  The best tips I ever got for my jumping position were:

Never hand on to the horse mouth - keep you shoulders, elbows and hands relaxed

Keep your eyes on the horizon and hold your head up like your trying to touch the sky

Relax and go with it!  The whole point in jumping is to fly!

 

Lastly, try jumping different ways, like with no hands, no stirrups and no saddle.  And make sure that your positiion is perfect in all other ways of riding too.  Riding bareback can really help with that.

Its not that bad :) Just try to go with your horses movement and not force yourself into position so much and in some of the pics your feet are sticking out sideways , try not to do this as you don't have as much balance other than that your position is good :)

 thankyou, and yeah i tend to overjump alot :/ thankyou i do bareback a fair bit, but haven't done much jumping :) ahh my feet they have always stuck out :P

i will try to work on my feet instead of jumping position, maybe if i focus on my feet i wont overjump so much? xx
