Cracker's coming tomorrow! :)

Cracker is coming tomorrow evening at about 6pm :).  It's still a little bit light, but my yard owner is going to meet me there, and make sure it is all lit up to help him feel calm.

Also, I need a little help with something.  Cracker's current diet is going to be different from the one he's on at the yard.  I've never been on full livery before, so when we had my previous horse, we just fed her the same food as she was already on.  What's protocol at a full livery yard in terms of food when you move a new horse in?

Hope everything goes well for Cracker's move, you must be on tenterhooks for tomorrow evening to come !!

Sorry, I don't know anything about livery feeding as I've never had my horses on a yard

Good luck for tomorrow, you must be very excited. I would go and get what feed he is used to and then he can be gradually changed onto what he will be eating on your yard or could you ask to buy a bit of feed from his present owner so you can change him over in the net few days?

Hope he settles in well and lots of photos please .

Thanks everyone :).  Yes I am like a kid at Christmas haha!  I will take my camera but I might not get very good pictures if there isn't much light - it's 6:30 now and already dark :(.  But I promise I will take loads of pictures on Thursday morning :D.

Good thinking Micki!  That's what I'll do! :)

I am Jen!  It kind of doesn't feel real!  I didn't expect it all to happen so fast.  I'd planned on waiting a little longer but when I saw Cracker advertised, I knew I had to go see him!

Keeley, Cracker is gorgeous!  He is so cheeky, he likes to grab everything he sees!  And he gives lovely kisses! :)
