 How high have you jumped before. 

I have reached 3ft so far and hope to jump higher soon.

i jumped 5ft7" thats just bigger than me - that was last year, when i get back in to jumping i want to go higher :)

I have lunged my pony 3ft3 and i have jumped him 3ft, he is only 10.3hh :)

 I have hardly done anything I feel really bad the highest I have done is about 60cm :( Higher this year though!!!

I personally like all four feet on the ground, but  my husband is BSJA registered and we have a Belgian warmblood (a Zangershiede) who has been off for the past year or so after injruring himself in the stable with a haynet - I'm not joking, he nearly ripped his front leg off at the pastern! - but when he was fit and out jumping he could do 1m30 - 1m40.  I was too scared to put it any higher for him because I could barely watch, but I think he could well have managed 1m50.  He's better now and building up his fitness gradually, but when he starts jumping again it will be at 60cm building up from there.

The last time I rode my boy, we jumped 4'3". I know he can jump higher, but I get scared when it gets over 4ft!! Baby boy is a 15.2hh sec D, and his old owner said that he cleared a 4ft hedge from trot as a two year old when something spooked him!!!!!!!

If at first you don't succeed, USE A BIGGER HAMMER!!!!!!
