Sometimes, being 5'1 is a little inconvenient..

Ugh, boot length. FOR GODS SAKE. I'm tiny and I'm not getting any bigger..

Those are the sort of boots, if I can afford to save up for them (lol) this year, I want to get.

But, I've seen them in the shop..  help them up against my ridiculous stupid size legs and wham bham they are like stripper boots.

Boo.

..Boo.

I know how you feel, I'm only 4'11" so nothing fits me! I managed to get some half chaps that are soft enough so they don't dig in the back of my knee. Gave up trying long boots on and don't get me started on jods! X

Re: Sometimes, being 5'1 is a little inconvenient..

My husband is the wierdest size of all.  He's 5ft 11 and just over 11 stones so is quite skinny looking, however underneath it all he's actually solid muscle (being a mechanic he's got a very manual job, he's not down the gym all the time lol!), with size 10 feet.  Across the shoulders is the worst thing, he needs to wear large size jumpers and jackets, at least 44inches, but he's narrow at the waist so even though it fits at the top, it looks like it's hanging off him!  He finds the Mark Todd range of stuff a reasonable fit (he reckons Mark is the same build as him so that must be why lol!).  Boot wise the calfs always look like they're gaping!  If we were rich it would all have to be custom made or something, as it is he just has to make the best of it, but it can be really funny looking, and it's an entertainment going shopping for things too, always guarantees a laugh - particularly the day the assistant recommended he try ladies johds for a better size - priceless!

I'm 4'11" with chunky legs but I have size 3 feet. wellies are a nightmare!

It has been calculated thay any two thoroughbreds picked at random will on average have more than 13% of their genes in common.
