He's a polo player apparently polo players and sj's swapped mounts at some point (seen this vid before and read comments hehe) he does well to stay on but he should of been told to sit and keep his feet in the stirrups!!

This is literally one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen. Hmm.

It's lonely in the saddle since the horse died.

OMG

I saw this on facebook, it annoyed me as this poor horse carried him around the whole course! If that was me I'd have chucked him off lol. Surely there are rules against riding like this as the horse must surely be being hurt! :(

Horse riding is a lot like nuts & bolts. If the rider is nuts, the horse bolts :)

awhh that horse.. probably done so much damage to its back.. but maybe im being harsh but it does look a little funny as he looks like hes jumping the fences at the same time..

Also if hes a polo player - dont they tend to ride with a longer stirrup and with a looser lower leg.. i dont know? cos he seemed to jumped better with no stirrup that with any.. my friend and her dad etc play polo and have a polo yard and they all ride really long and loose. dont know?

edit: i have just seen the second half of it.. what an idiot! hes coming further and further away from the saddle. suprised no 1 stopped him, and that smack was un called for.

This vid did the rounds a few years ago (as said above) and there was outrage about the welfare of the horse, people were screaming he should be banned from competition for riding so badly etc etc, I didn't read that he was a polo player back then, but even so that poor horse, deserves a medal.

I think it started on H&H forum.

Wow I want that horse! Have you ever seen a more tolerant neddy? Mine would have had him off at the first jump. The rider must be sining in a pretty high voice now lol
