what do you want?... for christmas...

It's just a bit of fun but I love christmas and if you could have anything what would it be? and why?

For me it would be a new set of clippers or a nice new trailer... would love either one of them!!

A calm horse that will hack out in company. Can't see that happening though . I would like some new jodphurs, as mine have had it, a 4x4 and my trailor doing up so i can use it.

The biggest thing i would really love is to make sure my kids are happy and enjoy themselves, now that one i know will happen

A horse, I know the kind I'd like as well   but short of a lottery win, that'll never happen. I'd love some more musto gear and a kindle.

I'm using my christmas bonus for a saddle :DThink I'm going to buy a nice dressage saddle, and a cheaper jumping saddle next year so I can do a bit of everything I hope!

Re: what do you want?... for christmas...

I've been meaning to get a kindle for a while. I've heard mixed reviews but I do train travel to London now and again, if I take a book my bag weighs a ton. Plus I'm also studying with the OU at the moment and think it would be easier if I got a kindle which I could put my course books on to. The OU is also doing the course material in downloadable pdf format which I could put on to a kindle as well. Even if I could afford a horse, given my health it wouldn't be fair to them. I know last year when I did a 2 day riding holiday in which I rode for only 2 hours and spent the rest of the time mucking out stables it put me in bed for the next 3 days with limited movement. Its just some days when I'm travelling to work I wish I could ride for more than the four times a month that I get to do so, but I can't complain.

Re: what do you want?... for christmas...

Ok first off the fantasy "will never happen in a million years" one - new back legs and a new neck and back for Smarts and to knock a few years off his age :) (Oh god and if he does have Cushings for that to go away as well please, oh and super duper mud fever repellant legs!).

If I won the lottery - A little lorry that I can drive on a normal car liscence, a car (!), new made-to-measure tack for Smarts, an erm "friend" for Smarts :)

Back in the realms of semi-reality - A new hat (taken a few knocks to the head with both of my current ones so think I need a replacement), new jods that don't have holes in.

Also would like to make my blooming mind up over what I'm doing about the extra top up year of my degree (now that WOULD be a fabulous present to me and everyone else that I keep driving mad over this!), to be in a position to take Smartiepants back (it'll happen in time just got to make up my mind what I'm doing with my degree first!)

Correction does much for the horse, but encouragement does more - Unknown
