thanks so much for the advice...
I rode him again today for a lesson (not too good as I had a bit of a stressful day) but he is really lovely. I have to say, I do find him difficult to canter on in the arena, as he doesnt really have a slow canter, if you slow him up he generally returns to a fast trot but perhaps this is somehting I can work on when I have more experience?
I am annoyed with the yo to be honest, as I feel like im caught in the middle of some stupid situation between the current owner and her and im the one losing out really and stressing about it lol This was supposed to be the most exciting thing to happen to me ever!lol
I will definitely make sure the arrangement re. usage is in writing/contract to avoid any confusion/p**s taking, if we ever do get to that stage :)
