I've got a tb mare, extremenely sweet but sharp enough to keep me thinking! And riley is a caspian cross welshie..... he's very much a caspian behaviour, sharp, highly intelligent, a adults pony to be honest! I love both breds but the caspian is very very special bred to me!

It has been calculated thay any two thoroughbreds picked at random will on average have more than 13% of their genes in common.

My fav breed has to be the Arabian i learnt to ride on a pure breed mare who was 14hh then 6 months later i had my own pure arab gelding who i owned for 26yrs (he was only 6 months when i brought him) he was not only my best mate but also he tought me everything even how to canter (once he was 4yrs old that is) i backed him myself (not bad considering i couldnt even ride well) he was so bombproof as well he also took me right to the top of endurance.

 

I now own 4 pure Arabs (well will have by the end of the month) plus one on loan.

They all range in age from one who has not yet been born but the dam has such good Endurance lines i have brought the foal even before its been born it is due end of July 2011, i also have colt who was born on the 7th May 2011 who i have just brought but wont be with me until 7th Nov 2011 im hoping he is going to make 15hh plus, 4yr old Arab gelding who i have owned since he was 6 months old he is 15.1hh and growing, 7yr old gelding who again i have owned since he was 6 months old he is 16hh, plus my loan horse is a 14.3hh Arab stallion who i have on long term loan from my cousin he is 13yrs old and ive had him on loan now for a month so i still have an advanced endurance horse to ride and compete at the world endurance championships as i lost my 26yr old a month ago. all are pure Arabs

Boyfriends come and go but my Arabs are for life

I have 2 New Forest, 1 Welsh D x, 1 Welsh C x, 1 Welsh Section A and 1 Shire x TB.
