Showing a Piebald Irish Cob - What tie to wear?

Hi,

I've shown my Piebald Irish Cob only once before but this time I want to wear the proper attire! I currently have a grey tweed show jacket, beige jods, black boots and hat but what colour tie show I wear?

Thanks :)

Ive got pretty much the same outfit aside from i have navy show pants for in hand, i wear a navy tie that has white polka dots on it, lol, Id love a red one but thought it might be too brash againts all the gray/navy in the jacket

ride a gypsy vanner... it'll make your butt look smaller

when I pick a tie it is either the same colour as my jacket, a shade paler, or similar to my shirt.

For my navy jacket I wear a navy & small spot tie

For my green tweed jacket I wear a yellow & small green spot tie (my shirt is pale yellow)

When people say its JUST a horse, they JUST don't understand.

Depending on the colour of your riding hat and tweed jacket, does the jacket have a velvet collar?

I have a green tweed with a blue velvet collar and a blue velvet riding hat with flesh strap, I wear a lemon yellow shirt with a navy blue tie with gold spots. All the colours match and it looks pretty smart. I sometimes also wear a burgundy tie but it looks a bit bold, I think.

Depending on the shade of grey, I would probably go for a navy tie with a pattern but its hard to tell without knowing the exact colur of the jacket.

when i show i have a green tweed with faint canary and red/burgandy over check, canary jods and a canary shirt with a red and gold tie or on the odd occasion that i showed a riding horse i wore blue shirt canary jods and red tie with a navy how jacket! when i had my blue/grey tweed i used a goldtied which had tinynay spots on it with palecanary/champagne jods, it did look really smart, personally i'd rather my tie didnt match my jacket or shirt but rather it took a hint of a colour and ran with it, but im picky!! i think gold would look nice with paler canary jods :) x

Use a narrow tie with a bold colour like red :) You can use any colour you want for showing so there's plenty to choose from! I have a piebald irish cob too btw ;) :P

~~Yes I smell like a horse, and no I don't consider it a problem~~
