So its Woody's first proper show tomorrow. So so excited, was up today giving him a bath (legs are still slightly tainted orange however) and cleaned my tack. Still got a bridle to do but don't think I'll sleep anyway from exitement!
Only doing a few classes, Pairs Jumping, Mini Horse Novice maybe as a tester run, Intermediate Horse and dependant on how high the Open Horse is I'll try. Only person on my yard with a horse so I'll be competiting against randoms while everyone else will be competiting against each other in Pony.
But yeah, WOOOOO! Haha.

Will post pictures on Monday probably, and from anyone from Ayrshire who's going to the show I'll probably see ye there.

try a shampoo for white horses on his legs next time if you find they are still a bit orangey- its purple in colour - with  william having white bits that get very mucky we use this .  he does get it all over his body as well, it also puts a gleam on the black.   wash down, quick ordinary shampoo, rinse and  put the purple shampoo on and leave for 10 minutes and then rinse off, brings the white up lovely.   good luck hope you have a lovely day.

 Sooo show was amazing! Woody's legs were actually quite white aha!
For his first show I am bloody CHUFFED to say the least! 

Came third in pairs cause my partner kinda fell off haha, but he was quick as a hare round and clear.
Got 1st place in Horse Novice! So so proud, double clear with super quick time. 32 seconds roughly.
And 3rd in Intermediate with 42 seconds.


So so proud of him, was a great day (with rain sadly) but the sun came out for my classes which were indoors and I couldn't be happier. First place at his first show!

Lol that's his bottom lip! Only bit of pink skin on him, makes it look likes he's always got his tongue out 
And thanks, he was a bit of a nightmare to begin with, was getting upset when all the horses from our yard went away, had to warm up in the warm up ring which had big scary plastic covered bales flapping in the wind. And someone decided to park their lorry in the middle of the warm up ring. Excellent.  A lot of rearing and bucking but eventually calmed down, wind stopped and sun came out! Although I had to get my friends to go into the ring first with me following on Woody because he was definetely not going in himself but its something to work on haha. Chuffed to pieces though, didn't knock a pole all day!
