Hair under helmet?

Okay I have a bit of a dilemma. I have a show on Sunday but have never been to one before. Have everything else sitting ready and planned out but have no idea what to do with my hair!
I have thick wavy brunette hair that reaches about my belly button. Usually I just fling my helmet on but I would like to look neat and tidy for this show.

So how can I do my hair? I recently bought a JTE Sprint helmet.
Sorry about the...ahem...interesting photo of myself but it shows what my hair is like at the mo! Also a picture of how my hair generally is when I'm riding.

I don't know if a french plait would work because my hair might be too bulky? Help!

Re: Hair under helmet?

My friend has really thick hair although its not quite as long as yours (which is lovely by the way).  She puts hers in a low pony tail and then buns it around, it has to be really low to still get your hat on.  If you struggle to keep it all in you could plait it and then bun it to keep it off your back.  Depending on what classes you are doing it might be worth getting one of the showing scrunchy type things to pretty it all up and keep it together.

Hope that helps although I know with hair its very ofter easier said than done so whatever you decide get practising so your not stressing about your hair come show day :) x

hi i would say as above, a low bun or even a low plait and then get a hair net on it to keep it in place and put a scrunchie over it.

 May I have your hair?

It's lonely in the saddle since the horse died.

Ha ha Kevin. The plait, bun, hairnet advice given should work well and look neat and tidy. Good luck at the show.
