Looking for history on my mare

I am looking for history on my mare.  I have had her for 4 years and the person i bought her from got her from Billy Stewarts yard but all the history he had was "shes fresh of the boat from Ireland"

She is turning 12 this year, she a 15'2 chestnut mare, with a white splash on her belly, 4 white socks and a stripe on her face.

Would like any info at all.

Pics attached.

What does the passport say? and who has issued the passport? too much to hope for is a weatherbys passport as nearly everthing is written down about that horse. Could be like my old Gypsy Cob issued by the British Horse Society, he now would now have been a recognised breed, a Romany Roadster.

Gypsy Gold does not chink & glitter. It gleams in the sun and neighs in the dark.Tonka & Lara my beautiful horses RIP, Nelson,Chloe & Kitty the cats.

Hi, the person that bought her from Billy Stewart was the one that got her passport as she "apparently" didnt come to the UK with a passport but she is CHAPS registered.

Did you CHAPS register her or someone else ? If it was someone else, then ring CHAPS and ask for history of recorded owners

It was the person that i bought her off that registered her with CHAPS.  She never came with any passports before that as i knew the horse when it arrived to the previous owner.

It sounds very much like you are chasing your tail and something sounds ify, and as far as I was led to understand all horses in the EEC had to have a passport so why did yours not have one to start with? But I take it she is now a well loved horse and has a good home, many horses are not that lucky. But sometime I do hope you areable to find out more as I wished I could have with my Gypsy Cob Tonka, but I have a full history for Lara as she is still a registered racehorse with weatherby's not under that name though as its her stable name.

Poster bought her horse 4 years ago, before passports were official
