Re: tb
I got him back at end of August. Had to take his shoes off as feet so terrible. They'd rugged him in the heat so had sores on his hips (that stuck out at 90 degrees right angles) sores on his legs from having boots on 2 tight and all the time.
Had had a incisor reduction so teeth now don't meet, been competed every weekend when bless him he looked ready for he knackers yard!
I'll tell u the story............!!!
I had him when he was 12 just come off race track as steeplechaser, helped re train him then i had a horrific accident on a friends horse and gave up horses. Was never riding again! Couldn't for a little while anyway due to injury.
So the lady that owned Chet couldn't cope withh him on her own so put him out on loan there they seriously neglected him, my friend knew the people and they said they didnt want him anymore so tried to get hold of owner who didnt want him back, so i spoke to the owner and said i would take him if he was signed over to me for life.
This was agreed and i picked him up the nxt day.
I was going to keep him as a pet as still hadn't ridden from my accident, well he got very bored recovering so i done some parelli and lots of walks in hand, this was not good enough for him so i asked my friend to get on him and the rest is history!!! He is such a angel i still have my nervous moments and he's a big boy but he listens to me and will stop and stand if i get nervous!!
He's weight tape has gone up by over 200 and we're nearly at perfect weight!
