Re: MY FRIEND IS TRYING TO BUY A HORSE THAT WILL KNOCK HER CONFIDENCE

Hey. theres not much advice i can say that will help as obviously i dont no her, but could u try talking to her alone about this?? maybe help search for safe horses suitable for her level, then telling her about it?? she may see these adverts and think again!!  If this dosnt work could you try talking to her parents?  they may listen better and will have more of a influence on her hopefully making her realise if the horse is too much for her. xx

Re: MY FRIEND IS TRYING TO BUY A HORSE THAT WILL KNOCK HER CONFIDENCE

My friend Brought a horse that is way to much for her, but she wouldn't listen to me either. She had a 11.2hh  which she never rode for she was scared of it (she was 13.) It wasnt even like he was a nasty pony. But then i got a new horse and well she  had to get one too. Now she has a 15hh cob which is dangerous for i know it and with its old owner it used to buck and bolt off. I tried to tell her but i just got told off for being truthful. My friend tried to tell her parents but they would not listen either. She also refuses to wear a body protector.

I hope she doesn't buy the horse :)
