Re: Exercise sheets

Think mine is from Derby House.  Its navy with reflective bits, can get it in florescent yellow too.  It has a fleece lining and waterproof.  It has a hole where the saddle goes, then it goes under the saddle flab and velcros together at front of pommell.  Stays in place fine.

I use it when Im riding in cold wether cos Velv really feels it or if I think it could rain.  Its great.

Re: Exercise sheets

The ones I used on my cob Tonka had fillet strings fitted and tabs where the girth would pass through so holding it down. Robinsons worth a look some go round the rider as well, the best cover I ever had was the white / cream rubberised riding mack which covered the rider and the horse, keeping the horse dry, central heating for the rider in this weather, also unlike the long wax riding macks did not deposit all the water down the riders long boots.

Gypsy Gold does not chink & glitter. It gleams in the sun and neighs in the dark.Tonka & Lara my beautiful horses RIP, Nelson & Chloe the cats.

Re: Exercise sheets

I have a fab fleece horseware one, it's really smart, double layered fleece, has velcro in front of the saddle and it wraps under the saddle flaps, keeps Fallon cosy and looks gorgeous!

Re: Exercise sheets

I got a great one off eBay with reflective strips.  Hole under saddle and then goes round her front/chest and velcros.  Fillet strings too.

Re: Exercise sheets

I have a masta waterproof one and a horseware fleece. Both have velcro fastening at the wither, and fit under the saddle flap so you can put it on after tacking up. Have an older shires one that has no velcro. When it is on, just fold the front corners back and secure them down with the girth and it will stay put!

Re: Exercise sheets

any exercise sheet can be made secure by placing the saddle on top and folding the sheet under the saddle flap and securing under the girth buckles..... pic below

Re: Exercise sheets

hey

My big horse really feels the cold so I have a couple both rambo and they are great ... one is a fleece and the other is waterproof. Neither ever slip even though he has a really big movement complete with a huge spook !!! They just stay in place under the saddle no problem.

Hope this helps !!!
