Your chance to quiz Carl Hester

We’ll be toasting Christmas with Cal Hester this festive season as we visit his yard armed with your questions. If you have a question for Great Britain’s star dressage performer, we want to hear about it.

The first 15 readers to have their question printed in the magazine will receive a token from Saracen Horse Feeds. This token can be redeemed for either a bag of Shape-Up worth £14.99, or a bag of Bio-Life 2000 worth £21.85.

So whether you want to know how Carl feels about being reunited with Liebling, want to quiz him about his experience of the World Equestrian Games, or want to ask him something a little more controversial, send your questions to rebecca.gibson@yahoo.co.uk before October 13th.

Which of your horses have taught you the most or been the most difficult?

If you were offered the ride on Totilas would you take it?

Which of the countless titles that you have won have meant the most to you?

If you could ride any horse, across the disciplines, past or present which would you choose?

What have been the best, worst and funniest comments awarded on your test-sheet?

Re: Your chance to quiz Carl Hester

Can you give me any tips for taking my 5yr old gelding to his first competition (dressage)? How can I keep calm and how much should I look to do on his firt outing?

Or Perhaps

Once you have broken a young horse in and have them working nicely at home, what steps do you take to get them out competing?

If you could choose a different sport and still be extremely successful which sport would you choose?

Do your horses go out hacking and maybe do a little jumping along side their schooling?

Is feel in the rider natural or can it be taught? If it can be taught what tips can you give people for developing it?

What gives you the drive to continue on with dressage, even through the highs and lows?

If you could pick any of the horses you've ever ridden as your favourite, which horse would it be and why?
