Non-slip pad combined numnah?

Hi everyone :).

I was just wondering if anyone had heard of/ has used anything like a numnah which has a non-slip pad within it? My little pony has very narrow shoulders, and his saddle just slips too much with a numnah. At the moment he has a neoprene non slip pad, but I really would like some kind of numnah with this combined?

Thanks guys :).

i think the stephens geleze range might have something.  i use the full back non slip gel pad under a numnah and its fantastic but im sure they have numnahs with the gel incorporated, dont know how good they are though

Barnsby grip pads and numnahs http://www.barnsby.com/products/accessories-barnsby-numnah-grip-pad/default.asp are fab, the best I think because they have grip underneath and above the numnah (double the grip!) Have been the best I have tried on Hari who is very round. They are expensive, however you can sometimes pick them up second hand on ebay. x

shires do a non-slip pad for around £20, they are slighlty padded under the grippy bit too so lots of people use them under treeless saddles.

I had major problems with my saddle slipping so bought a Nuumed non slip numnah... it was about £40 ish but well worth the money - I don't think they've been out long, the saddlery had just got one in and want me to let them know if it works!  Before I bought it I'd never canter cos I was sure I'd end up in a heap on the floor!  It is absolutely fab!  I'm cantering all over the place and feel completely secure!

I don't know if you have heard of IMPAKT SADDLE PADS but my Dad is thinking of starting to produce these again. If you are interested please get in touch with me, and also pass on this information as he wants the word spread to make it a viable business.
