Great tip about the talc and water, that never occurred to me!  I'll try that out on mine, one has three white socks and the other has two socks and 2 stockings practically, nightmare!  Glad the filly's black from head to toe apart from her blaze.

Forgot to say you make it like a paste and slather it on.  Brush off at last minute...but be warned...its messy!! and covers your yard floor, lol
