Dressage help needed!

I am reasonably new to dressage, but have been riding for around 9 years; I have a 12.2hh part arab to ride this weekend (and every other time I ride =D) and I know that he has a great outline when he wants to, and flashy paces. But do any of you have any advice on how to keep his outline and increase his forwardness to schooling/ on the turns. Some exercises would be helpful, but you might have to explain how to execute them! xD Someone I know suggested shoulder fore, and maybe conter canter. Thanks a bunch those of you who reply xx.

Re: Dressage help needed!

iv posted a couple of replies to similar questions recently, you will find them in the general section - i think they are titled 'working in an outline' and 'how to get a horse on the bit' hopefully you will find them of some use, if you have any questions or are unsure about anything just let me know! :D  Have fun with the pony!
