bracken is a 14.1hh skewbald middle weight cob gelding, he will be bout 14ish now, i sold him nearly 5 years ago to a young girl somewhere in farnsfield in nottinghamshire , would love to now if he is ok i had him for 7 years, and it broke my heart to sell him , miss him terribly , if any one has any info thanks . madeleine.

i have recently found out that my old cob bracken, has been renamedand his new name is something like milky or milka,a women called rose wilson who owns trent valley eq centre in notts bought him, she then sold him on , does anyone know of rose or my old cob , greatly missed

Just a quick suggestion, have you tried tracing her horse passport? Every horse should have one these days and if it is anything like mine there is a history of ownership??

hi lconnacher, yes he had a passport when i sold him ,how do i go about tracing his passport , thanks for that suggestion.

im not sure, iv not done it before but im just thinking if you could contact the company you had your horse passport with, i.e. mine was brought from pleasure horse society they may be able to give you details, have you tried doing a search on like google, it may be able to tell you if there is like a main body that everything is recorded with? along the same lines as a microchip or freezemark, let me know how you get on

i had a look on the pleasure horse society website and thats where i bought brackens passport from i rememberd when you mentoined it , so i have written to them, so fingers crossed  that they can help me, thanks again for that, and i will keep you posted

i have sucsessfully found my old cob bracken, after 5 yrs, he is in a new home in calverton notts, just down the road from where i got my mini shet, went to see him today he looks fantastic, i cried, so a very happy ending:)

no they didn't vikki, it was actually a web site called horse chit chat that  go on , someone there said they reconise him, and that he could be at this place in calverton, so i enquired and it led to me finding him, oh i'm sooo happy , and i keep in touch wit his new owner and exchange photo's and i can see him when i want , which is just fantastic x
