My friend was at my house and came up and patted my horse on the nose and said wisely "Thats his nuzzle you know" hahahahaha I'm never going to let him live it down!

the funniest thing i think I've ever heard, i was talking to my friend at school, about an abcess near Shayden's frog and my friend said

''Why is there a frog in your horses foot!?''

Was on way to yard and i say to my friend::

Me: My Mums buying my horse Arthur this really warm heavyweight rug its navy blue.

My friend: Oh my mums just throwing out this massivle red and cream rug that used to be in our room, you can have it if you like.

Me: HAHAHAHAHAAHAH

 

Yes she thought i meant a rug we put on the floor at home! :)

Out hacking with a friend a few years ago we were riding through the woods when couple of adults walking there dog said "look at that horse it has 2 lenghts of hair". It had a blanket clip.

I've also been told i must have loads of money if i can afford to keep horses!!

I have had a few people in work say to me " so your horse is a boy? i say yeh and they ask if im going to let him have babies in his future!!

i say no as he is gelded and that is just a whole new conversation! lol

arthur wears an under - rug round his chest  because his rug rubs - my hubby paul calls it his bra lol

Or when your out on a hack and your horse is REALLY hot and sweating and some elderly ladies come out with buckets of water and carrots and you have to say no. They look at you as though your really mean and then you have to explain that you dont want your horse to get collic! :)

My friend suggested once to put my mare in with her gelding and use my old paddock for jumping. My mum who has been around horses quite a lot says to my friend..wont she get pregnant?

she was very embarressed when she realised what she'd just said!
