Re: Animal cruelty

Animal cruelty makes me feel so angry inside, it's something that i really can't stand. I just wish i had the time and strength to march around the world and beat all the offenders into a pulp! Because believe you me, if i could, i fucking would haha.

It's the lowest of the low and if any humans commits an act of animal cruelty then they've seriously got something lacking inside their head. It's vile, disgusting and foul. They're people not worth of their lives.

I've seen the video of the foxes being killed for their fur and it didn't upset me, it just made me so angry that i couldn't continue watching it without doing what those poor foxes had to endure to the men who were inflicting it upon them.

Re: Animal cruelty

I havent clicked on the links but Ive seen and read stories about how animals are treated in china, korea etc.  But hey, what do you expect?  If they cant even treat their people humanely.  This is a country that they are only allowed to have so many children and ony encourage the birth of boys.  They also sell their kids.  Girls are hard to sell on cos no one wants them.  The country is full of corruption.  Not to get me started on the whole sex tourism trade.

They also take kids on school trips to zoos where they (the kids!) get to shove live chickens down a shoot to see lions etc rip them apart.  They boil cats alive, eat live octopus (have to dip it in oil so the suckers dont stick to their mouths), skin dogs alive, squash dogs into tiny cages.  They beat them to death in front of the others as they believe the fear makes the blood rush through their bodies making the meat more tender.

Sorry for anyone reading this who originates from the far east but I will never ever travel there for these reasons - only when it starts to sort itself out and gets some morals.  Unbelievable when the dominant religion is buddism with the precepts being to refrain from killing all living creatures and to refrain from sexual misconduct!

It all makes me so angry that if I read an article I go in such a mood, I feel like punching someone afterwards

Re: Animal cruelty

i didn't mean to upset anyone.

i agree that kiling for unneeded fur is very very wrong. i once wrote a piece in my english case on this subject. killing for meat i have no problems with but fur is wrong. every animal desevres a good life leading up to the moment of death whether it be an abused child or a starved dog. everyone desevres the best. i'm not a vegitrain as i don't beleive this is the best option for me. i eat home produced meat were i know were it comes from and that its been happy, if only these animals had the same chance. but whle you write your letter look on the back of your shampoo bottles and things. i do.

i will write a letter but i see no point in getting angry just practical so write letters.

I agree with what you say highlander, as I said meat will always be eaten, it's the treatment of the animals prior to death. Another point that I find amusing is when vegetarians wear leather, I once worked with a girl who was a devout vegetarian, she knew the ingrediants on everything, wouldn't eat biscuits, 'cos they had so and so in them, polo mints had something else, had to be vegetarian cheese as normal cheese has sheeps renin in it etc,  as we'd eat at work she'd point out to us what was in it, certain shampoos/makeup etc were banned 'cos they were tested on animals (that I am totally against, there's enough rapists, paedophiles etc in prisons, test on them !!!)  but she always wore real leather shoes !!!!!!

Re: Animal cruelty

I totally agree with you Highlander.  It is one thing killing for meat and using skin, fur as a by product but killing purely for fashion is wrong.  Appycob, I knew a vegetarian who was a very aggressive protester type person.  You know the ones that would go to a fox hunt and physically attack the riders type.  Anyway he actually made me laugh, he was always dressed head to toe in leather.  I see him in the street still and he is still like that.
